Roadhouse Magazine exists to document and support Chicago’s DIY music and arts community.
If you’re making something—an album, a tape, artwork, a zine, photos from a show, a video project, or something harder to categorize—we want to see it.
This is a space for independent artists, musicians, and weird little projects that come out of the city’s basements, studios, rehearsal spaces, and living rooms.
What you can send
We’re interested in things like:
• Albums, EPs, or demos • Bandcamp releases • Album artwork or visual art • Photography from shows or studio spaces • Zines or printed work • Videos or experimental media • Anything else you think fits the spirit of the magazine
If it’s part of Chicago’s creative ecosystem, there’s a good chance we’re interested.
How to submit
Send us:
• A short note about yourself or your project • A link to the work (Bandcamp, website, Drive, etc.) • Any images or files you want us to see

Roadhouse is an independent project run by artists and music fans. We can’t guarantee coverage, but we try to listen to and look at everything that comes our way.
