By using this website or submitting a listing to the Roadhouse Directory, you agree to these terms.
About Roadhouse Magazine
Roadhouse Magazine is a Chicago-based music and culture publication focused on artists, musicians, photographers, videographers, writers, venues, creatives, and people connected to the local DIY music scene.
About the Roadhouse Directory
The Roadhouse Directory is a free, user-submitted directory created to help people discover and connect with Chicago-area musicians, artists, photographers, videographers, writers, venues, creatives, and others connected to the DIY music scene.
The directory is free to submit to and free to browse.
User-Submitted Listings
By submitting a listing to the Roadhouse Directory, you confirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You have permission to share the information, images, links, and materials submitted
- You understand that approved listing information may be publicly displayed on our website
- You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian
- Your submission does not violate someone else’s rights, privacy, copyright, trademark, or safety
- Your submission is not fake, misleading, hateful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, abusive, spammy, or harmful
- Your submission must primarily represent original human-created work. Fully AI-generated imagery, artwork, music, artist photos, or deceptive synthetic media are not permitted in the Roadhouse Directory.
Public Display of Directory Information
Approved listings may be publicly displayed on the Roadhouse Magazine website.
This may include your name, artist name, band name, business name, pronouns, category, bio, social media links, website, images, and any other information you choose to submit.
Do not submit private information that you do not want made public. This includes home addresses, private phone numbers, sensitive personal details, financial information, medical information, or anything else you do not want visible online.
Review, Approval, and Removal
All directory listings may be reviewed before publication.
Roadhouse Magazine may approve, reject, edit, hide, or remove listings at our discretion.
We may reject or remove listings that are:
- Spam, fake, misleading, or unrelated to the purpose of the directory
- Hateful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or abusive
- Infringing on copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
- Unsafe or inappropriate for the Roadhouse community
- Outside the purpose of the Roadhouse Directory
- Otherwise inappropriate for the website
Submitting a listing does not guarantee that it will be published.
Editing or Removing Your Listing
You may request edits or removal of your listing at any time by contacting hello@roadhousemag.com.
We will make reasonable efforts to update or remove listings in a timely manner.
User Content and Permission
You keep ownership of the content you submit.
By submitting content to Roadhouse Magazine or the Roadhouse Directory, you give Roadhouse Magazine permission to display, edit, format, publish, and share that content as part of the website, directory, editorial features, promotional materials, and related Roadhouse Magazine projects.
This permission is limited to operating, maintaining, promoting, and improving Roadhouse Magazine and the Roadhouse Directory.
Photos, Logos, and Uploaded Media
Do not upload photos, logos, text, or other materials that you do not own or have permission to use.
By uploading media, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and allow Roadhouse Magazine to display it.
Roadhouse Magazine may remove images or media that appear to violate copyright, privacy, safety, or community guidelines.

All original Roadhouse Magazine content, including articles, interviews, photography, design, branding, graphics, and other creative materials, belongs to Roadhouse Magazine or the credited creator unless otherwise stated.
