Summer Camp Presents – Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie

A new era of Summer Camp is just around the corner with a brand new and exciting take on the festival. Now known as Solshine: A Music and Arts Reverie, will continue to host a diverse lineup of bands spanning from jam bands, to electronic music, and everything in between.

With this re-brand comes a dedication to expanding upon one of our favorite parts of the festival, workshops and activities. In the past Solshine has had amazing workshops with experts spanning a whole range of fields. From learning how to forge mushrooms and juggling lessons by juggling masters, to hearing stories and getting to witness traditional dances by local Native Americans, these are just a few of the many workshops that have been put on by Solshine and we are so excited to see what they have in store for us next.

The inaugural Solshine weekend will unfold at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois from Friday, May 24th, to Sunday, May 26th, 2024, with a pre-party setting the stage on Thursday, May 23rd.

Continuing their longtime residence at Three Sisters park, iconic jam band MOE will be taking stage again along with Goose, Umphreys’ McGee, and The String Cheese Incident, promising unforgettable performances that will resonate with music enthusiasts.

Personally, we are excited to see Saxsquatch return from the wild for another year of trippy saxophone playing from one of the best acts around. If you are looking to get away from the crowds at the big stages, Make sure to check out some of the great bands that usually play our favorite stage, The Campfire Stage. While the current lineup for The Campfire Stage is yet to be announced, make sure to check out bands like Steady Flow, Lespecial, Sun Stereo, and our beloved Saxsquatch who have played there in the past. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed with who ends up on the stage.

Soleshine will come alive on May 24th for the first time. All Solshine tickets will have camping included, with the option of additional add-ons including VIP upgrades, the Thursday pre-party pass,  as well as RV and car camping spots. Make sure to check out the full lineup on the Solshine website, where you can find more information on the festival.
